Independent hosts
Your own stay
A villa, an apartment or a homestay. Prepare applicable guest details before arrival, review them yourself and keep the stay organized.
Fictional example · Tamarind Villa
Two guests arrive on Friday. The host checks which registration details are required, explains why, then reviews the completed record before welcoming them.
Property managers
Several properties
Start with a clear booking and property context for each stay. Agree who reviews the details and keep registration separate from access instructions.
Fictional example · Courtyard Apartments
An operator prepares separate arrival checklists for Apartment A and Apartment B. This illustrates a working practice, not a portfolio dashboard, team-permission feature or synchronized booking feed.
From a confirmed stay to a clear record.
Start with the booking
Confirm the property, dates and expected guests. This is booking context, not a connection to an Airbnb account.
Explain applicable registration
Establish the permitted purpose and tell guests what is required, why and how to get support. Do not add unnecessary ID or contact requests.
Review the details
Where document collection is permitted, extracted text needs human review. OCR and contact verification do not establish legal identity.
Keep the record organized
Maintain the reviewed stay record under the appropriate property context. Arrange keys, access instructions and required filings separately.
Good questions before the first arrival.
Will guests need another account or app?
The registration journey runs in a browser, not a guest account. Keep the request proportionate and explain its purpose. For Airbnb reservations, do not assume an external form or mandatory OTP is permitted: assess the current policy and applicable legal or compliance basis first.
Can I ask every Airbnb guest for an ID?
No blanket permission is implied. Airbnb restricts external ID requests to its permitted circumstances, including applicable legal or compliance requirements and advance disclosure. Check the official policy before asking, collect only necessary details and offer help if a guest has questions.
What about foreign guests staying in India?
Review applicable passport, visa and reporting requirements for the property. CheckInd’s C-Form workflow supports preparation and human review; it is not a guarantee of compliance or a claim of automatic government filing.
Does this work without a reception desk?
The registration request can be prepared before arrival and reviewed by the host. Door access, keys and any physical identity checks remain separate arrangements.
Does CheckInd connect to my Airbnb bookings or smart lock?
No Airbnb booking synchronization, approved Airbnb integration, smart-lock connection or automatic access-code feature is represented here. The offline demonstration uses fictional booking context.
Can managers use one dashboard for every property?
This page illustrates property-specific registration practices, not verified portfolio controls or team permissions. Discuss the exact operator requirements in a walkthrough before choosing CheckInd.
Policy comes before the form.
Airbnb’s rules limit off-platform registration and personal-data requests, with specific exceptions. Hosts should verify their basis and disclosure requirements; this preview is not legal advice or permission to collect data.
